On Friday, February 8th, Renee (Brian's Mom) received a phone call from Brian’s daycare informing her that Brian was dizzy and off balance. It seemed like a nightmare. Renee took Brian to Brandon Memorial Hospital (Florida) and based on prior family experiences, demanded an MRI.  To everyone’s shock and horror, the MRI showed a large tumor on Brian’s brain stem.   Brian’s tumor was diagnosed as Glioma, a rare form of cancer.  This is a nightmare beyond belief.   Brian’s current prognosis is a 30% chance of survival.  Brian is tired and loses his balance often.   He is currently undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatments.  Renee and her husband Myron are in shock and trying to brace themselves for what lies ahead.  Renee can not imagine how she can survive this tragedy.  Brian has to have a chance to fight, the opportunity to grow up and most of all, not to suffer.  Renee and Myron deserve the opportunity to focus on Brian’s health and well being.
